2026 WVF Flower u-pick info

We are trying some new things out with our u-pick this year!

We will have specific u-pick days, and we are trying to have people buy tickets ahead of time to give our food vendors who are scheduled to come, a general idea of crowd size to expect.

For Family Days, pre-sales are not required, but highly encouraged.

We’ll be offering two kinds of u-pick experiences:

Family Day u-picks – Sundays 1p-7p: August 2nd and 16th, September 6th and 13th

Grown-up u-picks – in the evenings 5p-9p: Thursday August 13th, Saturday August 29th, Thursday September 3rd, and Saturday September 12th.

Pretty self-explanatory (hopefully, lol), but just to do a quick rundown:

Family Days are for families, all ages welcome!

Grown-up u-picks are for adults 18+, which gives the grownups a chance to relax, wander the flower fields, and enjoy the evening with friends or loved ones.

Some FAQs

Where do I park? – On the south side the farm there is another driveway with easier and closer access to the flower field. You’ll see orange cones on either side of the drive way to help guide you in. Pull in and drive back to parking spaces off the driveway.

Do I need to bring anything? – We provide the snips to borrow while you are here on the farm. With your purchase you’ll receive a 32oz mason jar filled with water and a packet of flower food to take home with you to put in the jar later.

What type of clothes should I wear? – You will be outdoor on a working farm, so be mindful of the weather. We are not a manicured park, so expect the ground to vary. We recommend closed toed shoes, but you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

Are there bugs? – Of course there are!!! We love all the diverse butterflies, bees, insects, moths, birds, and bugs. We do not use any pesticides here on our farm so it is teaming with life. While you’re cutting you will be able to witness all the wonderful vibrancy Mother Nature has to offer. You can hear the bees gathering the nectar and collecting the pollen. You may have a Monarch butterfly land on your head!! It’s so much fun to watch the insects carry on in their own world busy about their own day, and not paying you much attention.

Do you allow kids? – OF COURSE WE DO!!!! We love when the kiddos come to the fields and get to interact with Mother Nature. They light up being able to pick their own flowers, watch the butterflies dance above, hear the sounds of the birds chirping away, and may even glimpse a rabbit hopping through the yard!

You may also bring your stroller since the parking isn’t far from the field. Best if you have one that has the larger wheels for easier maneuverability on the gravel and grass.

Do you allow dogs? – Unfortunately we DO NOT allow dogs on the farm. We LOVE dogs (as we have one of our own) but we want to reduce any chances for incidents between dogs and customers.
